September Mix: "Genesis"

Neverrain Listeners,
Thank you to everyone who came out to see me perform at FutureApe, I apologize on behalf of the promoters for those of you who did not get to see my play at my alloted timeslot, the DJ schedule got shifted around and I wasn't able to go on until later in the evening on a completely different stage.
So, this month, I have pulled together a good portion of the records I had planned to play at the event, but didnt get a chance to. Please play this mix loud, and feel free to get your dance on if you missed my set @ Futureape.

Nice! And also a Tiesto track in the mix, which i consider as a incredible DJ.
I'm also from the Netherlands, and a lot of people love the music of Tiesto.
Keep up the good work EJ!!

I missed the opprotunity to atten FutureApe, so I'm glad for this experience. From beginning to end, this set re-defines "PROGRESSIVE".
Any FutureApe photos going up on MySpace?

Great work again Eric. I personally dig the vocal trance at 1:30:00ish it's so nice and smooth (Close to You), fits well with this Sunday morning with the sun slowly making its way into my condo, shining bright. I love when music fits the surroundings and that for sure does the trick. I'd be interesting in you tackling some more of that kind of stuff ;)
All in all, another great mix.

Hello Eric,
You are an amazing DJ. Have you ever thought of what people were doing while listening to your music? Like if they listened to it while having a shower or outside on the patio pumped to the max? They need to play your music in every nightclub in America and call it the NeverRain Xperience.
I listen to your music all the time while I work at home. It keeps me full of energy and focused on work. I also listen to it when i drive as I have an anxiety disorder and when I play it loud it is like a cure. All the anxiety washes away.
I will even turn around to my house and get the CD once I find I forgot it. The music is also there for me when I am feeling depressed. It brings me back into reality. It makes me realize life is so short there is no time to be depressed.
I am also excited to see the first Tiesto track in your mix. I think you really will become the DJ of America and will top the music charts.
Thanks Eric for providing an emotional escape for me and your other listeners.

Bloody awesome mix, brotha!
Just powerful & sophisticated... the dishes are vibrating.
If it's ever possible for me to get to orange county, SoCal, I will definitely join one of your events.
Thank you for your continuing & amazing work.
Take care -
Your friend from Germany,
Niklas

Hi Eric,
Again a really atmospheric mix, containing trance, deep, and some spoons of electro, rubbing the edges of progessive. Carefully put together, technicly flawless, building the energy.
Even honouring Inkfish as he is in the scene for more than a decade now (remember 'late night pimp'?)!
Do I need to say more; you left Thijs Verwest far behind you! Not even Paul Oakenfold reinvented himself again and again like you are doing.
Cheers!

Eric what is the font type you used to write GENESIS?
And when is your album coming out? :D
Posted by: Stef | December 7, 2007 01:57 AM
Stef,
The font is called "Alloy", and the weight is Semi-bold.
Hope that helps.
As far as my album.....should be coming out shortly :)
