November Mix: "Escalation"

Finally, after 12 years of being behind the decks, the NeverRain platform is live. I have had an incredible time this year, being able to perform alongside amazing DJs such as Christopher Lawrence, DJ Trance (Jason Blakemore), and D:Fuse to name a few. Having a full-time career running a design agency has made it difficult for me to find time to develop a mechanism for releasing my mixes to the public, however this month I was able to carve a small opening of time for Neverrain.com. I will be recording live sets each month and posting them here, so you can get a small taste of the music that has shaped my life, and continues to influence me every day. Additionally, I will be releasing beta previews of tracks I am currently working on before they go to 12 inch, and would appreciate any feedback you would like to offer.

So, without further ado, I am proud to present the debut mix here on Neverrain.com, "Escalation", November 2005

Please sit back and relax for the next Hour, and enjoy the sounds.

    Hey Eric,

I've been following your 2Advanced work the past year (2005) and have visited this website before and only found a message. I checked back yesterday and saw that it has been updated, a new site launched.

Well getting to the point... I am listening to this mix as I write this and do my photography assignment. For me, it's relaxing and nicely progresses. Very well made, I love it!

    You're so inspiring to me.

You are a prime example of being who you are.Your music tracks and graphics style go hand in hand with images that are truly "Music you can see". Thanks for the inspiration Eric. Creation is a true revelation.

damn. whats' up in here? some people work hard to make a mediadesign which looks not nearly good as the 2advanced works (I'm sorry for my bad english, here in germany you got not every day the chance to talk english ;) ). your design-team was a great leader and a very nice example to me. and know, you do your dj-thing... crazy. maybe I'll write you an email.

    best regards from stuttgart, germany.

    Eric,

I find this mix to be a bit scary at first. Haven't gone through the entire thing yet, it's seeming to take shape after the plane flies by (not fond of that by the way). It's nice how it pans from left to right but other than that I don't think it's a nice match, I was like...wtf! is there a plane flying over the office? Then I realized it came from the mix. Dumbass I am! :)

Good quality - even for the 128 bitrate. Will continue to get inspired.

Good day Eric, I must say that you are definetely a channel for alot of creative energies both visual and auditory. This mix is imaginative and stimulating.

I love you so much! Great place to visit!

    Excellent mix, but one question:

The track "Mar del Plata" is originally by Benz & MD, with Dousk on remix duty, is it not?

Hardly a big deal, great mix, and love the work 2Advanced.com has done over the years. Do you think you'll get an opportunity to work with Eyal Federman (Descent) anytime in the near future?

Eric muchas felicidades!! sin duda eres una persona que nació para triunfar, me encanta tu trabajo en 2advanced y lo que transmites con tu música!!

Desde México recibe mis mejores deseos, espero sigas teniendo tanto éxito como hasta ahora!

Now we're talking! I been checking your site over and over last few days, hoping to find this. Can't wait to hear and I like how you describe it. KEWL!

Hey Eric, I have, like thousands and millions of others followed 2A from a early age of development, and i must say that there may be big ones, there may be good ones, but there will never be an artist like you and your team :) one of the following days I'll write you both in the interest of questions and also a little about promotion of your music, here in my home country.

    Best regards
